With Selbstwelt, Kroda continues the tradition of delivering something new with each album. To some extent, music at Selbstwelt reminds of non-ambient compositions at its predecessor, Naviy Skhron. Maybe the point is in the overall dark and slightly melancholic atmosphere of the album. Topically, Selbstwelt can be regarded as self-introspection expressed through diverse images woven by the motifs of nature and paganism.
